Death Whisperer 2

Good horror movie with a good story, which you never get nowadays. Have not told about the witch's origin can lead to another story. Movie has a good pace with good actors but would have increased the scary elements. If there is someone from this movie reading this please reach Indian audience it has a great potential and may get a huge fan base.

It has a good potential for another sequel take your time and write a good story. GIVe a good back story and little high in emotion which lacked in this part I think.

IMPROVEMENT - Good BGM.

It's a thoroughly entertaining mix of horror and action, with just the right amount of tongue-in-cheek (pun intended) comedy in the mix. On the eve of his sister's wedding ghost adventurer Yak Baggins and some allies enter a cursed forest to track down a powerful entity that has nefarious plans for his family. The movie is nicely directed and generally well-paced (although the third act drags a bit.) The (subtitled) dialogue is crisp and efficient - I didn't see the first installment but I had no trouble figuring out what was going on in this sequel. The graphic violence, horror imagery and action toe the perfect line between "brutal" and "hyperbolic to the point of parody." Apparently the first Evil Dead and The Shining were influences and it shows, although thankfully this movie isn't just a ripoff or a parody. Overall it's fun and extremely well done.

I really liked the first Death Whisperer. It was a classic supernatural horror movie with a Thai context, instead of same old catholic imagery I've seen a million times. But this one didn't know what it was. Most of the time it felt like there were 2 movies going on at once. One about a family battling with a dark invasive spirit, and --as many others have mentioned- a slapstick Army of Darkness clone. If you love horror and just want to see something new, I guess it's not a total waste of time. Yak is pretty good-looking. But don't expect it to be anything like the first Death Whisperer movie.

There is truly a stunning improvement in the second film. I gave the first film a low rating because of a few weaknesses, but those same weaknesses were addressed in the second film. Apart from the story, which is a continuation of the first episode, we must say that in other respects there was real progress. In fear, in excitement, in special effects. Even the third part could be much better. The director really had some interesting ideas for the second part. Apart from the scene where Yak is killed and revived in the story for no good reason, I didn't see any particular weaknesses. It was a bit unexpected that Yak would be killed and then revived because of the charm of that person's bracelet.

I got everything i was looking for in this movie. This movie was more "believable" than the first part in terms of how the actors looked. In the first part, the actors had "just-out-of-the-salon" hair, which was fixed in this movie. It was hard to accept how people living in a remote village could look so groomed. I wanted to see more of the Thai rural culture; that's my only disappointment. Otherwise, the movie perfectly delivers what I was looking for - just enough gore, horror, jungle adventure, unpredictable story, and good acting. The lead male character is definitely an eye-candy for the ladies.
