This unusual mystery crime thriller BL series tells a story of a doctor who performs euthanasia on his patients. Some people are against the very idea of euthanasia. But there are also some who agrees with it. No matter whose side you're on, one thing is certain. That the actors in this series delivered amazing performances. The thick crime atmosphere in it reminds me of "Manner of Death", there's the same mystery essence and creepy thriller vibe in it. The only thing that makes it a BL series is that even after all the suspicions that the main lead cast on the doctor, he's still madly in love with him. That can only happen in a BL series. In real life, that relationship would've been long gone before it even started. There's no spicy scenes in this series, so it's safe to watch for general audience. I deducted 1 star from my initial rating for unclear ending. You'll get what I mean when you watch it.
Unforgivable malpractices and unethical minds exist everywhere alike. Humans are forced to take drastic measures to protect something they hold dear. Who is the ultimate judge? This perspective has been explored in two dimensions. These two leads with ruptured brotherly affection in their previous drama together are now lovers with secrets. I can see that Jayler and Tor signed this project not to promote as couple but to bring us a good story. Their comradery is evident from intimate scenes. I expected a strong rivalry between a police and a medico engaging individual female partners but they chose to challenge themselves. Detailing makes the series look putrefying but dead don't lie. Location in north was perfect for filming being damp and hazy for most parts of the year, mai yu chadjen. Similarly, philanthropy behind euthanasia is questionable. Spanning over 8 episodes this not-so-suspenseful thriller cuffs you each week. At 3:58 on Nont Tanont's ost, you can take the pill.

Outstanding performances from the entire cast, especially the male lead, Tor. Spare Me Your Mercy tackles the sensitive and thought-provoking topic of euthanasia, presenting both sides of the argument-those who support it and those who oppose.
As a BL series, it's truly a rare gem and one of the best BLs I've ever watched. The kissing scenes are passionate and intense, adding to the emotional depth of the characters.
The series, though only 8 episodes, felt too short. I truly wish it were longer. Please support it on iQIYI. A true masterpiece. Hope that the production team will consider a special episode for this amazing series.
