I really love the concept of this BL drama - it's honestly a breath of fresh air. We rarely get stories where exes are the main characters, and using a reporter/media angle instead of the usual office or university setup we've seen hundred times. It's not something you see all the time in BLs, which makes The Ex-Morning stand out.
The Ex-Morning tells the story of ex-lovers Phi and Tawan, who unexpectedly cross paths and end up working together - slowly rekindling the feelings they once had for each other. The plot is pretty straightforward, but it keeps you curious - like, what really happened between them? Why did they break up? It gives you that nosy feeling like you just have to know their past.
The first few scenes already felt grounded and real, and I had a feeling from the start that this series would keep me hooked. I've loved KrisSingto since SOTUS, but when it comes to reviews, I don't let bias cloud my judgment. What matters to me is the storyline and how much I enjoy it. Of course, good acting is a bonus - and thankfully, The Ex-Morning delivers on that too. I was pulled in right from episode one.
There weren't any sweet scenes at the start - they really acted like actual exes. Their constant bickering is kind of adorable. And the way they look at each other? You can tell there's still love and care lingering between them.
Though, I do think episode 8 felt a bit off - the scene where someone secretly takes a photo of them hugging and it spreads online felt unnecessary and kind of cliché. It didn't really add much for me.
That said, everyone plays their roles well. Kris as a reporter fits the part, and Singto once again proves he's a versatile actor. The pacing is just right - it doesn't drag at all. I won't go too deep into the chemistry because, let's be real, it's obvious how electric they are together. And whoever styled them seriously deserves a raise - their outfits are on point every episode.
Visually, the show is stunning. The cinematography, color grading, and the soundtrack all come together beautifully. Don't let the negative reviews turn you off - most of them just nitpick without seeing the bigger picture. Overall, this series is definitely worth watching.

The premise is actually pretty fresh for a BL series and definitely has potential... but-keep reading.
I Saw You In My Dream follows Ai, a university student who starts having strange, intimate dreams about his childhood friend and neighbor, Yu. Weird enough, those dreams begin playing out in real life, leaving Ai confused and slowly catching feelings.
Ai He honestly looks tired of Yu's antics-and I don't blame him. Yu's been pranking him since they were kids. With all the dream stuff happening, it makes total sense that Ai's questioning everything.
Yu The older, playful neighbor. He used to have a girlfriend but they broke up. Deep down, he's clearly hurting, but tries to brush it off with his usual playful front.
Now for the overall vibe...
This show is definitely a slow burn-and maybe a bit too slow. Not much happens for a while aside from Ai constantly dreaming about Yu. The real intimate moments? They don't happen until episode 8. The plot mostly revolves around jealousy and a love triangle, plus Ing bottling up his feelings for Yo. It gets a little repetitive, which makes the story feel stretched and the writing a bit dull.
That said, the kisses and NC scenes were well done, and I appreciated the supportive, open-minded parents-that was a nice touch. The chemistry between the leads and their sweet moments helped keep it going. But honestly, watching it felt like forever because of all the filler scenes. It could've been stronger if they focused more on the important stuff and trimmed the excess.
Great cast, but the execution was just... okay. Like I said, there's potential here, but the repetitive plot kind of drags it down.
Would I recommend it? I won't say "don't watch it." Take a chance on the first few episodes and see how you feel.

I honestly didn't expect much at first, but I ended up really enjoying it - glad I gave it a shot because the episodes just keep getting better. I originally watched this for Guide, but I ended up staying for the whole squad.
Bake Me Please can be a bit cliché - the classic sunshine guy falls for the cold and grumpy one - but somehow, it still kept me entertained. As painful as some parts are, the series gives off this warm, comforting vibe.
It also touches on how complicated relationships can get, and the emotional struggles that come with being in one. Plus, it dives into the reality of unrequited love - loving someone who just doesn't love you back.

What I liked:
✅ There are only a few characters, so the story's easy to follow.
✅ The production value is pretty solid.
✅ The cinematography is beautiful, and the OST hits just right.
✅ Peach and Chin have decent chemistry - it's not fiery, but it works.
✅ Everyone did a great job, especially Ohm and Poom, but I have to give a special shoutout to Guide - I just love his accent.
✅ It would've been even better if Poom had more screen time or was one of the main leads.
✅ The love square actually added a little spice without making things toxic.
✅ Supportive grandma
---
What didn't work for me:
✅ Chin's character is honestly hard to root for - he's too unreasonable, self-centered, and barely grows throughout the series.
✅ The lack of clear communication (especially on Chin's end) gets frustrating.
✅ I lowkey wished Peach and Guy were the endgame, but of course that's not happening - Ohm (Chin) is clearly one of the main leads.
---
Overall, Bake Me Please is a cooking-themed BL with a simple, easy-to-digest plot and easy on the eyes cast. It's not a masterpiece, but it feels grounded and the casting was on point.
If you're looking for a BL series you can binge in one sitting without getting emotionally wrecked, give Bake Me Please a shot.
