I hate harem. I started to watch this thinking that it was going to be a romantic comedy. This is rather a sex comedy.
Basically, the star of the show, attached to a huge pendant which seems incredibly painful to wear around the neck unless it's made of some cheap, light material (that doesn't explain why it can resist all sort of battering), is really the only male character in the series, apart from a friend of his, who doesn't even have much of a role anyway. More and more female characters are thrown in the show, up to a ridiculous amount of 9 or so (so far!). Interestingly, although they are in their 15s, they seem to have huge breasts. And, guess what, most of them are attracted to the guy.
Honestly, talk about male-focused perversions.
OK, I found the anime to have a few very funny moments, although they were not related to the sex comedy (they could turn down a notch the whole sexual innuendo, btw). In fact, the anime also have a few sweet moments, which happen when it centers on individual characters' relationships with the male, particularly Onodera, rather than having anything to do with the whole hentai polygamy stuff.
A lot of the series is based on extremely predictable moments and clichéd situations almost copied from other harem anime.
The drawing is mostly good or very good, although strangely, as it happens in many other anime, the quality goes down quite a bit sometimes.
Season 2 doesn't really add much to the plot (except for more female characters, of course), and the anime seems to just be dragging on.
A 3rd season is neither announced nor confirmed yet. I find hard to believe that this series will reach any credible finale, though, with so many girls interested in the guy and all that. Another let down of these harem anime.

I don't usually watch anime, but when i do is because i feel attracted to their beautiful visuals. And let me tell you straight away that Nisekoi lacks good storytelling but it compensates that with charismatic characters that are very familiar to anyone who loves Anime and good sections of comedy.
Nisekoi it's about a forced romance between Chitoge Kirisake a beautiful(Like any other character in any other series...) blonde girl from America with Japanese roots and Raku Ichijo. Both are the sons of the most powerful Yakuza family leaders in Japan. Both Yakuza gangs are in war but in an attempt to make peace and stop the war they force each others son / daugther to engage in a relationship.
And that's it. Both Chitoge and Raku doesn't like each other in the beginning but they start to make a good relationship in the process. Most importantly Raku is in love with Onodera Konozaki a beautiful and gentle girl from his class.
And there's a backstory... Raku fell in love with a girl he met in his childhood, he keeps with himself a nice golden lock that works like a necklace, in order to find who is the girl from his childhood both the girl and him should open his lock with a key and discover who is the girl that he fell in love at that time. Because at the moment he doesn't remember how does she even look like, or his name. And as the story continues the possibilities are increasing.
The story isn't very good, the characters are like any other characters you've meet in any other romance anime you've watched but it has a lot of funny moments.

I really enjoyed season one. Unfortunately, season two was a total letdown. A bunch of episodes that were completely unrelated to the main story. More random stuff instead. The kind of things I would expect as extras after the end of the story. Unfortunate, the story has no ending. The end of season two has everything in the same place as the end of season one. It was like the writers lost their ability to progress a story entirely.
First of all, the anime should've chosen either the key and lock or the arranged marriage plot device. Doing both just made the whole story clunky. Second, It would've been better if it was just a love triangle between Raku, Chitoge, and Marika instead of a harem. Both Chitoge and Marika were strong-willed, stubborn, and refuse to accept defeat. So them aggressively competing with dense-as-hell Raku in the middle of the chaos would've been more fun and compelling to watch. I'd also want Marika to be the childhood friend with the key to the lock instead of Onodera. I don't hate her; I just found her boring compared to all the other love interests. Every joke and subplot that revolved around Onodera was the same, and her constant failed confessions were repetitive and annoying. Plus, she really had nothing going for her in the harem apart from being nice, pretty, and Raku's childhood friend. What made Marika's love for Raku more interesting was that her dad was the police commissioner. Imagine how interesting it would've been to have a love triangle with the daughter of a gang leader and the daughter of the police commissioner. The story's overarching conflict could've been Raku choosing between uniting the two rival gangs or creating peace between his father's gang and the police department. Overall the story was fine. If you like harems, you'll like this. I just wish the story were better.
They make the base very well and romantic but finish before end.
They had 36 eps but did not end properly or end at all .
Why they did not make the rest and season 3.
Just wasting time.
I don't recommend it to anyone.
