It is an interesting movie about various shades of human emotions in conflict ridden societies anywhere in the world. The message that today's conflicts create victims and perpetrators out of common people, who can reform and move on, given peace and tranquility a chance, is very powerful. A common man, who gets out of trouble, would like to live his life, rather than wasting his or his adversaries' blood on revenge. Director has done an excellent job to get this message out with all the constraints of a short story. The story is well depicted and screen play is excellent. The movie provides proper historical context both by visuals and narration. All the actors have completely justified their roles. Back ground music sets the right tone for the mood of the plot. A must watch!
The main actors in the film did a decent job of acting. In the short amount of time, the director did a really effective job of conveying his message across. The film certainly grabbed my attention throughout. The film summarized the plight of the Sikhs during that tragic time in Delhi and elsewhere. The name of the barber shop was cleverly named as Rajdhani Barber Shop. A full length feature film on the same will be a treat to watch. The actor who did the policeman role was very suave and realistic. The director was successful in highlighting how circumstances make a person realize the importance of life. He was able to combine different religions in such a short span beautifully. I hope the director makes many more thought provoking films like this one.

Well done, thought provoking piece that makes the viewer ponder.
Kudos to the film's writer for delivering this well scripted, well portrayed, excellently depicted story in all its intensity. To tell this story so well in so little time is definitely a feat that not many can accomplish. Job well done.
Thank you for this piece, it brought a piece of history to the fore and showed that there are always choices.
I didn't know the original story from which this is adapted, but my curiosity has definitely been piqued as a result.

Very well depicted to suit the Indian context. Brilliant screen-play and performances.
Message reaches the audience. It is well communicated using the right combination of body language, silence and words.
The historical context of this film and the events that unfolded, are educative for this generation.
Music is good and as needed. Team effort is clearly visible.
Thoughtful and conceptual. Given the length of the movie and its complex plot with added sensitivities, subtleties are very important which were remarkably presented! On the whole a good movie.

Congratulations to the maker for the deft handling of a complex subject. Surely, this film will touch a raw nerve for a section of the population but hopefully it will balm the feelings by the end. In no order of preference, the protagonists did a fairly decent job. The officer carries off the stern typically associated with a police officer. At the same time, the barber convinces us with his vulnerability. The transition of the officer happened a bit too rapidly for my taste but then again it is a short film. I cannot imagine being asked to convey or talk about a complex subject in a few sentences or a few minutes and doing justice to it. Here, justice has been done. The opening credits credit the film as an adaption. Adaptions are tough in the sense of borrowing someone else's words to tell your own story. Without no knowledge of the original story, the short film is an excellent depiction of the one of the painful and sad chapters of contemporary India.
