Aside from it taking place in a real time and place in history, even its fictional aspects feel real and fleshed out with the artistic style only they could pull off. So many people complain about Rocky and I have 3 words for them: Read the comic! Stuff like that don't emerge in a personality overnight and without reason. Aside from that, the characters flow seamlessly into one another in interactions but never lose their individuality, it is to the point where you can look at the characters as a friend group and have friends say: "*Insert Character* Reminds me so much of you!" but enough gushing about writing!
The artistic and stylistic choices paired with the chosen Voice Actors pair so well that I find it impossible to imagine anyone else saying some of these lines and the subtlety of some frames art choices in both the Back and Foreground speak volumes to the effort put into making this dream a reality!
As for the critical side I only have one complaint: We are introduced to Mordecai Heller and his black tuxedo cat, analytical self but for new readers and watchers it is very hard to understand why he won't shoot in some scenes and what "Getting sentimental about "The Old Times"..." could mean in a story sense leaving people confused about who he really is and taking shots in the dark. (Pun not fully intended). Yes I am aware of all my grammatical mistakes but I woke up 30 minutes ago so have mercy in the comments.
Not good at closing statements so... Goodbye Y'all!
