Watched this show back in 2022-23 with my friend wasn't terrible but the og show had a lot of issues but it did truly get better first few episodes are pretty slow kinda just like the og show but it got a whole lot more trilling from there sure it's predictable but me and my friends really enjoyed it even more then the first show from here the directors should work on making the show less predictable but i like the voice acting and mentions of trauma in the show not a huge fan of darius liking brooklyn but can't say i didn't see it coming. Yaz and sammy as a couple were kinda cringe to me in the og show but there very realistic and entertaining in this new show. Darius still just seems to refuse to tell his friends stuff but again got a lot better.
ITS PEAK.
The angst is amazing, so much more dark and mature compared to the old show. Chaos theory should definitely not be rated y7, but that otherwise the plot is amazing. A perfect amount of suspense, mystery, and drama which isn't aggravating to watch. The grief is real in the characters, and every episode is unpredictable with complicated character relationships and accurate representations of coping mechanisms with grief and loss. Also with the addition of actual terrifying characters? The lady with the micro bangs is going to actually give me nightmares.
Would highly, HIGHLY, recommend to watch. Although the camp cretaceous first series with five seasons may be a drag to watch, the results are with it. Me my friend and my sister all watched chaos theory premiere and were in awe. We may be well over the recommended age for this show, but it's just that good.

The story continues 6 years later from Camp Cretaceous with the original characters. The story is well-written, the animation is great, the action keeps you watching, and the pacing keeps your attention.
This season (series?) is much more involved, mature, and darker than the previous ones but also has a lot of light-hearted moments that make for great continuity and connection to the characters from previous seasons. The mystery of it and the characters coming together really keeps the essence of the show while bringing something fresh to the storyline.
I honestly think at this point that adults might enjoy it more than children would due to the content and themes. Some action parts might be a little bit frightening for children who are a bit younger, especially with characters/dinosaurs jumping out and with loud noises. Some of the dinosaurs might look a bit scary. Younger children also might not understand the storyline as much since it tends to lean on the more mature side but it's still a good watch.
My only concern is the inclusion and continuation of the Yaz and Sammy romance. Since this is labeled as a show for kids on Netflix, I don't think parents will assume that LGBT themes would be included. The previous season included Sammy questioning her sexuality as a running theme (which is a topic that is too mature for this kind of show in my opinion). I personally think it's wrong to include it without adding some sort of notice for parents who would like to have a discussion with their children or wait until their children are of a certain age to discuss this topic with them. This was something that was not usually a concern some years ago so I could understand if parents assume that this theme would not be included in a show labeled for kids. This theme is more prominent than any other theme of romance in the show and the most outright one with the kissing and continuous conversation surrounding it. It didn't have to be included but also, while being included, it didn't have to be so obvious. It feels forced and even the relationship between Brooklynn and Kenji was so not outright and portrayed that way. It's just not appropriate for young children no matter what anyone's personal views are about relationships and sexuality.
Considering it all, it's an awesome show that I really enjoy watching as an adult. Overall, parents may want to be aware of that it might not be suitable for younger children due to some of the things I mentioned above but for older teens and adults, I think it's a great watch and high-quality animated series! Definitely entertaining!

I'm a 26 year old and have been into Camp Cretaceous since it came out. I was so pumped to see a new show with them as young adults. I LOVED it and was so pleased from start to finish. I'm a huge dinosaur fan and this show was very entertaining to watch, even though it's a cartoon aimed for children, I still believe anyone of any age can watch. It does not make you feel like you're watching a show for kids, there is a solid plot, and very good suspense scenes. The character development is great as well and it's so cool to be able to see the characters as their older selves. Also, BUMPY, so happy she's back and able to be reconnected with Ben. If you're hesitant to give it a go, don't be, the show is great.
I imagine this show has its problems already, but that didn't stop me from enjoying this next Mesozoic installment in the Jurassic franchise. People can expect to see a lot more gruesome and chilling moments, and a lot of action packed thrills.
Even if the series might be too dark for an audience of at least 8 years old, the character arcs have come full circle since Camp Cretaceous, with even more development to be found in a fully established cast.
If you don't like to get your socks scared off, this series may not be for you, but it will immediately be forgiven due to the immense growth all of the characters go through. I absolutely cannot wait for Season 2!
