Fest Godzilla 4: Operation Jet Jaguar

I've watched a few "real" "films" over the past couple of days, but none match up to this Godzilla short, which sees the return of Jet Jaguar to live action. I've always been fond of Godzilla vs Megalon, so seeing Jet Jaguar again and hearing all those sound effects made me happy (I whispered "yessss" under my breath three different times in under 12 minutes, which is always a good sign).

Even then, this felt a lot like a Millennium Era Godzilla film, at least the way it moved, was paced, and the overall tone, too. I didn't mind that, because I like that era as well. Guess there was one or two iffy shots in this short early on, but all is forgiven once the smackdown gets under way, and Jet Jaguar is being all goofy, doing parkour off buildings and stuff.

This looked like it was a ton of fun to make. It also ends on a cliffhanger, so I'm excited to see the next one of these shorts. Now that it's become a series of sorts, I'd say these Godzilla fest shorts are just as essential and worth watching for fans as the feature films coming out of either Japan or the US.
