If you are looking for a plot synapses, there isn't one. The movie is one giant chain reaction. There are a lot of running jokes, each building up to a hilarious climax of absurdity. Hasselhoff spoofs himself amazingly well. I was never a Baywatch or Knightrider fan, so whatever inside jokes there were about those series was lost on me. However big Hasselhoff fans I'm sure would enjoy the movie even more. The movie takes a lot of pokes at Hollywood, adventure movies, PC culture, LA culture, even Ted Nudgent. Does so not in a mean spirited way though. It's sad that the craft of comedy has fallen so silent. Basically hour and a half fart jokes is what most comedies are about. This one offers plenty of slapstick but also more subtle jokes. Most of all it has a Robin Williamsesqu love of how absurd life is. In the end it's just fun. No politics, no preaching, no agenda, just a fun time and plenty of laughs.
The entire premise and outcome of the movie is in the trailer, so watching the film had to be about the jokes and the acting. And it was not funny. Oh, Hasselhoff making fun of his own inflated ego was a bit, but a very short bit, then it got old quick.
Now, this is not a bad movie that you can enjoy, it's just plain boring. It's got nothing, not even specific scenes, that is above the mediocre. I wanted very much to enjoy it, but I couldn't.

This film, I imagine, is meant to be a raunchy black comedy. Well, it certainly is raunchy as well as lewd, crude, and, in my opinion, terribly unfunny.
Ken Jeong stars here as Chris, whose life is in shambles and sees his only way out is to kill David Hasselhoff and win his Celebrity Death Pool, which has grown to over 500 thousand dollars.
There are some decent performances here such as Will Sasso as a loan shark, Colton Dunn as a gay hit-man, and Hasselhoff does well parodying himself.
However, it just all added up to me as painful to watch silliness. Mercifully, it's only 1 hr. and 20 min.in length.

Lighten up people.
Probably the most non-PC movie made in recent times, this is a very funny film.
I don't think anyone escape ridicule. This script goes after everybody.
Hasselhoff is fantastic, skewering himself and his image with abandon and Jeong is great as well.
For those who want to laugh and won't mind the jokes, this is perfect.

I must admit that at first glance, at the title alone, I went "nah". This movie was sort of a either it fails horribly or it turns out to be a stroke of genius. And with that in mind, I sat down to watch "Killing Hasselhoff" from writer Peter Hoare and director Darren Grant.
Well, I can honestly say that the movie had an interestingly enough concept that it was founded upon, but the story of the movie just never really found its footing and it ended up as something that really didn't live up to what it could have been and failed to deliver where it could he delivered so much more.
Despite having performances from the likes of Ken Jeong, Jim Jefferies and David Hasselhoff himself, then the movie just settled on a flat mediocre speed. I must say that it was definitely the performance of Ken Jeong that carried the movie for the most part.
"Killing Hasselhoff" turned out to be a movie that was seriously lacking funny situations that would bring about laughs. If it had more top notch comedy, then it would have made for a more wholesome movie. My final rating of "Killing Hasselhoff" has to be a very generic and mediocre five out of ten stars, because this was bland. So very, very bland...
