A wonderful tribute to a young man who exuded positivity and love of life, undaunted by physical challenges. It sounds as though one couldn't help but like Christopher Rush. He had a smile, a sense of humor, and an ease about him that would win people over. His parents also struck me as remarkable supporters of their son. I have a feeling that Chris could be quite persuasive, and they believed in him and helped him do whatever he set his mind to.
This film is a good reminder that we need not be limited by our weaknesses, but can draw on our strength to "go far", for we all have gifts to share. They may sound like platitudes, but people like Chris uphold these principles beautifully. People like Chris inspire us to believe.

Go Far: The Christopher Rush Story is a beautiful film. It is both the documentary of an extraordinary person, and a reminder to all of us that everyone has a story. Getting to know the person behind the story may be more challenging when a disability is present, but the effort can be life-changing. Christopher touched people's lives as they quickly learned to look past his disability and see the compassionate, funny, intelligent person he was. He developed a system of principles to help him achieve his goals, which is explained in the film.
What I took away from the film are these reminders: Everyone has a story, and all of those stories are worth discovering; don't let anyone's disability distract you from learning to know the person; most of us are far more blessed than we care to admit or be thankful for every day; and the GO FAR principles can be implemented by any of us, no matter what obstacles we face.
While watching Burn Notice, I quickly learned that my favorite episodes had been edited by Zack Arnold. In GO FAR: The Christopher Rush Story, Zack delivers a wonderful movie about an inspirational young man, the parents and family who helped him believe in himself, friends whose lives were changed by their relationship with Christopher, and the method he used to accomplish amazing goals. I recommend this inspirational film to everyone of any age.

There are too few people who we meet in our lives that make us want to become better people or who by setting such a great example of drive and kindness, inspire us to be and do more. Christopher Rush was one of those people.
I never knew Christopher but because of the work of countless people touched by Christopher, I now feel I do.
I am so glad that I watched this document of Chris' life because I now feel that I can do so much more and can help others to do the same. I feel now that I must disseminate the messages that Chris himself disseminated his whole life and still does through all who met him and now, through all that meet him through this film.
As a father, I know that I want my children to see the courage and persistence that Christopher had, despite all of the obstacles that life threw his way. He never gave up and did so much. A shining example of a life well lived.
Thank you Christopher Rush.

This is a terrific film about the life of Christopher Rush. What a heart. What a champion. What an inspiration. Watching this will change your perspective on life, on people with disabilities, on reaching your goals. This is a well-done and very moving documentary.
Zach Arnold got some great clips of old Muscular Dystrophy telethons from both the local Michigan stations and the national broadcasts that really show Christopher Rush's engaging personality. He also did some great interviews with friends, family and even Tony Orlando showing the love everyone had for Christopher.
Christopher Rush had a contagious love for life and the people living it. He made a friend out of everyone he met. I'm glad I now know his name.

I Absolutely love this story and believe it's a must watch for everyone! The message is simply, don't give up. Don't let anyone tell you you can't/won't be an able to do something. And to not believe all these people. Even if you do have limitations, you do what you can. As long as you never give up, you will go far and Christopher did just that.
It's so incredible how Christopher was able to do so much. I see so many people in wheelchairs who seem so depressed. And here was Christopher living the life of his dreams. And that's how you're suppose to live your life.
