Twisted Neighbor

This movie started of with a bang. It was a mystery/thriller with a who done it. Enjoying the content and characters. Lovely homes and scenery added to the over vibe. Then the middle hit. It was no longer a thriller, but now a comedy. Then it became awful. I guess the director couldn't decide what genre he wanted, so he threw it all in. Typical plot twist and now an annoying whiney lead. There now is too much going on and you lose the original idea of a murder mystery. By films end I was asking myself why when it started off so promising. I guess movies try to hard to please everyone by throwing in everything but the kitchen sink.

Give me my 90+ minutes back. This is currently one of the worst movies ever that I have wasted time watching on Lifetime.

Bad plot, mediocre acting and I wouldn't have minded if a natural disaster ripped through Sunny Vista and wiped everyone out. If a hurricane or tornado came out of nowhere and crushed everyone of these idiots I'd have jumped out of my chair and cheered.

I enjoy some of the most predictable movies on lifetime. I even enjoy an occasional unbelievable movie but Twisted Neighbor takes the cake.

The only way to get Hollywood to make better movies is to voice your opinions about their product.

It's that bad that I felt compelled to write criticism toward a movie.

Twisted Neighbor is a story about an outsider who moves into a nosy neighborhood with stereotypical overbearing HOA families. A murder takes place and our protagonist takes it upon herself to solve it.

This movie feels so muddled down it is hard to describe. This movies characters are not real people but just walking and talking plot elements. Not a single person in the entire neighborhood has any children. They are rude, one sided, flat and unlikable so that each one will be a possible suspect- and for no other apparent reason. At one point the police are called and the entire neighborhood is outside within 30 seconds. Not a single person was busy. Because of this it almost feels like a parody at times and I don't think that is in intention.

This movie also has a PG to PG13 rating that sanitizes a lot of intense moments, specially with the dialogue. I think the story could lead to some "adult" elements but stops halfway and it leaves it dull and uninteresting because of the terrible writing.

Overall this is a hard skip for most people who use IMdB and a watch for people whose top 10 movies of all time are lifetime originals. Terrible writing, awful characters and an underwhelming plot will leave most viewers wishing they never moved into this neighborhood.

Hey guys! I watched the movie and thought it was a great movie with different twist and turns as the name says twisted neighbor haha. That's true our neighbors are actually nosey and so is Sunny Vista's neighborhood. Everyone is interested to know about other people's drama in the film. The lead was adorable while the other cast acted perfectly as the snobby nosey neighbors.

The suspense was good and you won't be able to guess who is the killer till the end.

So if you like lifetime movies then you would not be disappointed with this.

I loved this movie!!! I got a group of my friends together for a movie night and we collectively decided to watch twister neighbour after much debate. It was highly entertaining for the whole group. Kept us at the edge of our seats and we were debating throughout the whole film who we thought the murderer was ( I won't spoil it for anyone). I love a good murdered mystery/ thriller so I highly recommend. I would love to see a sequel. I also couldn't help but find this whole concept my worst nightmare. A neighborhood chat?!!!!!! Is so crazy. I would def be the prime suspect because I'd be so rude to everyone and tell them to mind their business as well.
