Naked and Afraid: Castaways

The episode where the pelican came to them for help and they killed him was an issue for me. I understand it is a suvival issue, but they werent' that far into the competition to be starving and he came to them with trust for help and they held him captive until it was conveniient to "put him out of his misery". I understand hunting and survival, but had to turn the episode off I found it offensive. If they didn't want to assist him with his wing, they should have let nature take its course. Maybe not practical, but it broke my heart. Killing is not in my wheel house, but I will kill for food if necessary, I just can't take advantage of a helpless animal that comes to me for help.

PLease don't show this kind of situation again, I can't handle it. If they had hunted and took him down, so be it, this was very uncomfortable. Done with the show, and I'm a naked and afraid fan.

We absolutely love naked and afraid, and can't get enough of their regular season, XL, and really any spinoffs. There is something so cool about watching people trying to survive in environments that no human being should want to try to go to. This show delivers on par with the rest with a great cast utilizing a newer generation of survivalists. I love the idea of no tools, you got to work with what you find. I think this is a little more realistic of a situation than someone being stranded but they have a machete, firestarter, etc... If you are a survivalist you got to try and survive with your hands and what you can forage.

We aren't finished with the season yet but am quite pleased and exited to see how it all ends. Would certainly watch more seasons with similar rules, etc.. and really am just adding this to the list of potential naked and afraid spin offs to keep an eye out for moving forward.

Worst cast ever except Bulent. However, the rest of the cast were non-relevant. Andrew was a cry baby, Na'im was irritating. But the cast was the worst ever naked and afraid show. It was better past cast that would of made a better show. It looks like producers are just reaching for ratings and this was terrible. I hope if it is a next season they ask better past cast. I have always been a big fan of the Naked and Afraid series and have watched the spinoffs. I would have to say that Naked and Afraid: Castaways would definitely have to be my favourite in the spinoffs.

I love how this is literal survival, they are dumped on this deserted island and have nothing with them. No help to start fire, no machetes, no pots. Just them naked and their bags, not even a map to help them navigate their surroundings.

I am fully invested in this season, with already having my favourite trio.

If you love Naked and Afraid, then you will definitely love this version. I hope we get another season.

We are both Experts at Fishing, Foraging, Fire making (with a fire starter please) Shelter building, and Staying Power through the good, the bad & the dirt.
