Disney Junior's Ariel

My daughter who is on the autism spectrum loves this show so much. It's so rare she'll entertain something new so when she took to this I was excited because that meant we can finally take a break from her other shows. The music/songs the whole family finds themselves singing along. I'm shocked it has lower reviews because there is absolutely nothing wrong with the show. I'm so happy they added more episodes hopefully it sticks around for a while. The characters are adorable we've already bought merch from stores............. Overall it's been great and we finally have a Disney Jr show that grasp her attention.

At first glance, Disney Junior's Ariel might seem a little far and unrelated from the classic Little Mermaid franchise. However, if you set aside expectations, you'll discover a delightful and heartwarming show. Each episode offers simple yet engaging stories, making it a joy to watch.

The show excels in showcasing and celebrating Caribbean culture. One of the highlights is its vibrant musical numbers, predominantly featuring Moombahton, with touches of Reggae and Bossa Nova. These genres enrich the narrative, adding a unique and enjoyable element to each episode.

Overall, Disney Junior's Ariel does a fantastic job of highlighting the beauty and diversity of Caribbean culture, making it a must-watch for both kids and adults.

As a Caribbean woman, I find this show to be a delightful celebration of culture and creativity. I love how colorful and relaxing it is, and I appreciate how the characters are relatable and diverse. I think it's a lovely addition to the Disney legacy. I watched it with my niece, and she loved it!

It's not fair that adult fans of the original Ariel are giving this show a bad rating just because it doesn't match their expectations. Open your minds, people! There can be 100 different Ariels in this fantasy world, and that's okay. Let's embrace more acceptance, stop being so rigid, be more objective, and refrain from rating shows out of anger and disappointment.

Amazing music! The best Disney junior music in my opinion! Love it!! My daughter and I love the fun, bright colors, good message, and wonderful music to dance to! Hope they keep this one for a while. Nothing to complain about here - 5 stars for Ariel. The little girl also has an amazing voice.

I'm not one to watch animated stuff, but upon watching the first episode of Ariel, I was hooked. Ariel and her best friend, Lucia, are so charming and feisty.. Love this series. Once O watched the first episode, I watched two more right away. The charm of the series gives me such a warm feeling, unlike some animated stuff, that feels a bit cold...not humane.

Ariel is the best.

I think that the charm could translate into a live action film or series. That's how much I've connected with these characters and the ambience. Even the "scene sets" are so much more alive...real...than many other animated films.

Love "Ariel" so much. I'll be watching the new episodes this week!
