This is an emotional story of two people carrying the weight of the traumatic events in their lives. There isn't a soul on the planet that can't relate to the experience of the characters in this film.
As Riley and Logan journey through their pain, you will find yourself reflecting on your own experiences in life. We all put up walls of defense at some point in our lives and the story does a great job of connecting the audience with the raw emotion that this can cause.
I could see this film rolling into a sequel or series because their are several storylines that could be explored even deeper.

SHREDDED is a compelling drama that reminds us of the fundamental healing power of shared experiences and the blessings of unexpected friendship.
A honest portrayal of interpersonal relationships in this digital world, where a cup of coffee and persistence can prevail.
A story of personal victory, courage and letting go of all you once believed. Showing a path forward from personal trauma and finding hope when you thought yourself empty.
Breathing each breath, feeling each emotion, then exhaling to let them be freed. SHREDDED is an engaging film that allows the viewer to participate in the climax of bare emotions.
I am not a "cryer"; I cried - So good!

This movie had me right from the start - Cancer is not a subject that any of us want to face, however, these individuals faced their journey in a beautiful vulnerable way that engaged me.
The message of hope (maybe not recovery) is a lesson learned on living life fully.
What developed between the two characters is more than a Hollywood Movie it provides us an insight into life and the detours we often must take to get to our spot on the map.
The cancer journey is an emotional and complex process, and this documents that with extreme grace, compassion and empathy.
The message that one cannot run away from life but must run with it has changed the way I proceed each day accepting the good, bad, and sometimes ugly.

I've seen this film twice, and it held up both times. The second watch made me appreciate some beautifully heartbreaking moments I missed on the first watch. It felt personal to one or both of the writers, who also star in it, and they did a solid job. Their chemistry felt real, like two people who slowly let their guards down over time. Like real humans do especially ones with trauma. It didn't feel forced or rushed, just natural and honest. I don't usually watch this genre, but this one kept me hooked. It's the kind of film that sticks with you long after it's over, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. If you're into drama and crying I would definitely recommend!
You might be surprised by some of the things you learn in this film. It's clear that the filmmakers worked with care and respect for their subject and the folks involved. The film deals with how different people deal with trauma and cope with hard experiences. The conversations the characters feel real-- which might sound obvious, but some dialogue in other films doesn't feel realistic. The conversations are meaningful and thoughtful. These characters feel like people you could meet in your own life. Beautifully shot-- in particular, the scenes on the beach and in the water are pretty amazing.
