Beneficial Fraud

I struggled with the premise from the very beginning and it didn't get any easier.

Overly empathetic lawyer gets involved with a sociopathic woman accused of killing her parents and burning their house down.

The writers seem to think that being empathic is an illness and so is being sociopathic - in my view both are conditions rather than illnesses.

At any rate he decides to help her which he does by getting her out of prison where she has served ten years, and filing for compensation. She feels no gratitude to him but he continues to try to help her even when he stops her from murdering somebody. My suspension of disbelief was already faltering at this point - especially as she has a habit of breaking the fourth wall and talking to the camera.

I tried to persevere because I like the ML and the guy who played the probation officer - but the FL was just too annoying to put up with and the dialogue went nowhere for too long. There was no chemistry and no interest in the convoluted plot that seemed to get lost in its own complexity.

When we were treated to a lengthy explanation of malware dictated into the camera by the FL I just gave up in disgust.

The Korean wave seems to be petering out due to a lack of good writers who can't seem to create decent believable plots with a beginning a middle and an end. Instead they stick to the same old plots with the same old dialogue and the same old tropes. Pure laziness and people are getting fed up with it.

The two different spectrum of lives are shown and how they interact with each other it's comedy action drama and you'll be glued to the screen and it's very engaging story I won't spoil the story , the growing number of TV show's coming out of Korea are abundant and you'll get lost in what to watch as their are too many shows or movies coming back to back if you are a fan of Korean entertainment definitely give this a try I also went blind and I was blown away by the story it's still airing and I can't wait for next episode, don't get confused with the amount of content coming from Korea just watch this.

The drama fell short of its promising premise, stumbling through a maze of poorly executed plotlines and lackluster character development. It didn't take more than a few episodes, after the first couple of cases, to show its cracks, the narrative was disjointed, as if the writers couldn't decide which direction to take. Once the main case with Kyung Ja & Jay was brought to the front, the story went haywire. The drama failed to maintain a cohesive storyline after that. The main antagonists motivations were a total joke of a writing, let alone, the unhinged obsession of an adult over a little girl. While it's clear the creators aimed for a clever blend of mystery and drama, the execution fell flat, leaving more frustration than entertainment.

Korean Drama " Delightfully Deceitful " is a crime thriller comedy about a con artist and an attorney coming together to punish those who think they are above any law.

The drama does start out strongly, with the story of the main female lead being compelling and her character even more so. And truly, there were some con cases that were handled nicely and the result was enjoyable.

However, the drama quickly deteriorates, getting boring and falling into way too many tropes. Things got out of hand quite quickly and the plot got even more confusing and stuffy.

The performances at least were enjoyable.

So, overall, three out of ten.

Story full of crimes, mysteries and plot twists. Woman and her friends with super knowledge decided to break the organisation where they were raised. Long and difficult journey. What can I say?, you won't regret watching this. This kind of series OMG. I felt in love with it. Maybe it is not something like business proposal (cute and full of love) but with caring men and amazing friendships. There were no boring moments. Only full of tension episodes but of course with fun ( the probation officer was like... you couldn't just not laugh) This kdrama deserves a lot of attention. You cannot just be indifferent about it ;)
