I've been looking for shows like this for so long
I've watched thousands of movies, and funny enough, never given any reviews.
This show is very similar to:
and other similar movies.
The production quality (amazing), and the plots is the most shocking part of this film.
I didn't at any point feel "Okay hey, that's absolutely stupid, there's no chance this scene or series of events would ever happen in real life"
The show in itself, now thinking about it, comes off a little bit too serious. Maybe 1 or 2 little comedic scenes would be appreciated.
I'm all for a part 2 or even a limited series of 3 episodes, as an anker.

Daniel Calparsoro returns to what he does best: a fast-paced thriller, shot with energy and determination, that never stops to catch its breath. El correo hooks you with rhythm and staging, with chases and twists that keep the tension alive, even if the feeling of "I've seen this before" comes up more than once. It doesn't try to change the rules of the game, but it does manage to keep you glued to the screen from beginning to end.
The economic and social backdrop gives the story an extra layer of interest, evoking a period marked by ambition and shady deals. It doesn't dive too deep, but it adds a touch of realism that grounds the characters and gives some weight to what could otherwise be just pure action.
The cast works well overall, with solid performances and a few characters who stand out more than expected. Many roles feel familiar, but the energy they bring helps prevent them from being completely flat.
Visually, the film looks slick, with an ambition that aims to place it among international thrillers. Sometimes that ambition feels a little forced, as if it wants to look bigger than it really is, but the result is still stylish and appealing.
In the end, El correo is pure Calparsoro: rhythm, intensity, and a straightforward style that doesn't let up. It may repeat formulas and not surprise much, but as entertainment it works just fine and delivers exactly what it promises: a good time.

How do you define a beautiful movie? Perhaps a movie which builds up suspense up to the last minute. A movie which you start and finish on the same day ! A movie which you may suggest to your friends to watch it.
The director and the rest of the cast did a perfect job in blending the story of the movie with a real event....the financial crisis which dissolved the economies of several European countries. The corrupted Spaniards in the movie have no difference with the corrupted Cypriots. (Its unbelievable how the movie resembles the financial crisis of Cyprus and the way the corrupted criminals were acting).
Brussels, Switzerland, and Spain is where the story takes place.
The story has several twists and even though the end seems predictable it does not limit the suspence. The leading character is a very promising actor. The rest of the actors also do their job in an excellent way.
Nice cinematography and the appropriate music add to the overall positive result. Even though the movie is labeled as thriller I would call it as action + (financial) crime.
So for a pleasant viewing at home I give it an 8 and I suggest that you watch it.

Seeing this on Netflix, I was immediately attracted to it by the impression that Louis Zahera was the star. I've loved him in everything he's been in, but it's misleading to imply he stars in this as he's got very limited screen time.
That aside, it's a fun crime romp in similar vein to The Business or any Guy Ritchie film. Basically, crime doesn't pay but it's bloody good fun while it lasts!
Laura Sepúl is a beautiful blue-eyed slightly older woman who is 100% sexier than the younger bimbos that the main character hooks up with - she's really good.
More Luis was needed, and I'd have given this more stars if he was in it more, but he's woefully under-used in this and if I hadn't seen his face on the Netflix description of this film I'd probably not have bothered watching it.
Ok no more to say but still not enough characters? Maybe IMDB you need to reduce your limit as there's not always that much to say!

Lets start by saying that the plot seemed very standard and cliché to me, with little innovation. There is no doubt that men will like it more, but it is not my cup of tea.
It's a trip to the real corruption in Spain, just at the beginning of the euro currency, and still with the pesetas in mind. Sadly this type of corruption has not changed much and is still going strong in Spain, that's why the part I liked the most about the movie is the final one, with the real images of the corrupt that in the end WE all ended up paying for. That's why the story has a cynical humor.
Even if the character is fictional the story is very real, but I think the film tries to cover too much, and gets cliché and cheesy. Also predictable.
Not my cupper like I said.
