The Haunted Hathaways: Spooky Laughs and Heartfelt Warmth

"The Haunted Hathaways" is a standout series that never fails to bring a smile to my face. It's one of the best shows I've ever watched, and when I need a good laugh and some warmth, I find myself revisiting its episodes (wich in numbers is more than 10 times!).

While the show has its quirks, like its old-school Nickelodeon style, dated jokes, and modest production budget, it's a welcome departure from some of the newer Nick/Disney TV shows. The cast takes a few episodes to fully settle into their characters, but the series still manages to captivate with its blend of humor and excitement.

"The Haunted Hathaways" is unique in its ability to combine spooky supernatural elements with genuine warmth and relatability. The Hathaway family, a mix of living and ghostly members, provides a heartwarming twist to the traditional family sitcom. Their interactions, whether funny or touching, make you genuinely care about their journey.

While it may not be a masterpiece like "Victorious," "The Haunted Hathaways" is an endearing show that offers both laughs and heartfelt moments. If you're in the mood for some fun and warmth, give it a watch; you won't be disappointed.

Seeing as this is a show for Children and the majority of reviews on here are being given by Adults... May I suggest the Adults watch the show for what it is "A CHILDRENS SHOW"..

I used to watch the show with my Nephew when he was younger and he loved it..

The first season wasn't that good, I'd only give it 3 stars. The little girl and the dad were the standouts but the rest was lacking. The other kids were supposed to be likeable but were not really. They were so stereotypical and one dimensional that you just couldn't get into them. Even the 'lessons' in the episodes were weak as they often involved the person that was selfish, self centered and bratty being the one that got their way in the end.

In season 2 the rest of the characters get more likeable and their personalities get a bit of depth. The life lessons get more heartwarming as the characters really seem to care about each other. It is a shame that it took so long to find its way and I'm sure it turned viewers with the early episodes.

An abnormal family of ghosts and an ordinary family of people in the same house, watching their adventures. Most of the episodes are super-silly, super-boring and the jokes are pretty bad. I don't know if all the actors are so bad or the terrible scenario isn't helping them...

I watched both seasons. My guess is the pitch was lets get an interracial Brady Bunch where they aren't really in a relationship. We can do aliens or ghosts? Ok, ghost's it is!

The show is funny, but too dang funny - not enough family moments. The obvious question that you have about the Prestons is never answered. Then, there is the New Orleans/voodoo backdrop. I'm not shocked that it was cancelled because it wasn't as bold as it should be. Still 7 stars for the comedy and Curtis Harris' character.
