Unfathomably boring...

"The Closet" is not only a short movie in length, running only 65 minutes, but it is also an unfathomably dull and very boring movie. The storyline is quite predictable, but also very pointless. And for a horror movie, then "The Closet" is weak and anything but scary.

Most of the movie was overshadowed by a really annoying music score which wasn't particularly suitable for the movie, much less for a horror movie.

The story is about a family moving into a rented house where the previous tenant left behind an old closet. The mother finds an envelope with money in the closet, and soon after strange occurrences start to happen. I will say that the movie had potential, but director Terakorn Rangsiwong didn't muster to put together a particularly interesting movie.

There isn't many people in the movie, and as such the burden of great performances was even higher on the cast. However, the people were just doing mediocre performances.

I have seen a lot of Asian horror movies, and "The Closet" is definitely in the low end of the scale. If you enjoy Thai horror/ghost movies then it is strongly recommended that you spend your time and money on something else, because this is not worth it, not by a long shot.
