It's hard to see a good film nowadays. Hollywood lost the quality and the movies that people recommends and art movies are boring to death.

Then I decided to see a Brazilian movie, a thriller and I did not have much expectation. I have seen so many bad movies lately but I am always eager to support new directors and actors in Latin America, like Ricardo Darin, the best Argentinian actor today. Almost all his movies are good.

I did not know the director, but I like the main actor, Mateus Solano. I did not like the beginning because he was so alike his latest character in a Brazilian soap opera, but I tried to forget that.

The story develops slowly in the beginning and he falls in love with a restaurant cook. It seems a very usual plot but the surprises start to happen. I cannot tell what happens and I suggest strongly that everybody should see this movie. Is one of the best thrillers I watched so far and the end is unpredictable.

I hope to see more movies like that coming from Brazilian cinema and I will be aware of the director new achievements.

A very engaging, simple, and intelligent plot ... Good performances, convincing, delicious and tasty touches of cuisine, which opens my appetite, all well thought out and presented with a dose of mystery, drama and plot twist ... Passionate national film..

The film tells the story of a cook simple, and very talented insecure. A very classy guy who takes advantage of women as well successful and have access to money. During the history you'll begin to understand more things about the movie. My notes for this film has to do with all the details, the plot, the story, the way as it takes the viewer to get stuck, try to understand what will happen and how. The ending is not very predictable, but it's brilliant. Don't think that is a waist of you time and heartily recommend. For a Portuguese who loves Brazilian movies this film is among the best that ever seen to this day, do not know if for this kind of movie could be better.
