To Be Hero X

Going in, I didn't know that this was going to be a medley of character POVs. I enjoyed the opening storyline, then it pivoted to a new character. I enjoyed that and then it pivoted again. It moved very quickly and I don't feel like I was ever really able to get invested in the overall arc of the show's storyline. I think I enjoy a more linear approach a bit too much.

It's a beautifully produced show and for what it is, it tells an interesting story, but the constant switch in point of view and shifting in settings just makes it difficult to buy in very much. I would assume that at some point, they will bring all of these points of view back together into some more coherent arc, but I think that brand of storytelling works better in a more interlaced fashion rather than the "here's a character, here's a story, here's a few episodes and now we're done with that" style this show is working with.

The only thing that stops it from being 10/10 is the jumping from character to character. Which makes it hard to invest in the characters, but other than that, I like it, and I know that the first 24 episodes are building up to the main story,y which I hope can make it more popular since it has a lot of potential.

I have no words, it is so addictive. The character, the story, the plot, the music. Everything is so good and best, I think there never been an anime like this, yes it is a dongua, but I thinl it surpassed all anime from the last 60 years, I have watched 170 anime altogether. In my life, this is in my top list.

At first, the animation style takes a bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. The story is super engaging, and the music really pulls you in. It kind of reminds me of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Cinematically, it's well put together, with some stunning visuals and solid direction. The pacing is just right-never feels rushed, but it also doesn't drag. The characters are already pretty interesting, and it feels like the story is setting up for something big. I have really high expectations for this anime, and I'm excited to see where it goes.

There are layers of cultural and artistic references here that seasoned anime fans will catch, but it's also grounded enough for first-time viewers to fall in love.
