I loved this show... loved! It was sweet and romantic and honest. It reminding me of Nothing But You but better. I can't believe I just watched it in 2025, its such an underrated gem.
I loved that it was a romantic drama before it was a sports drama but they still gave a good amount of both. It honestly played like a modern romcom and I found that so cute. And shoutout to the soundtrack, I loved the songs.
The chemistry between the leads was just chef's kiss. I probably rewatched every kissing scene at least five times. Especially the one on on the beach (if you know, you know). But I also loved that it wasn't just about the kisses but the way they talked, played, touched... it was all so believable.
I liked the other characters too, I think they were well developed and that the story didn't use to much cliche plots.
My only con about this show was that the ending felt a bit rushed but regardless I will probably rewatch this show again and again.

First, I must note that I found this series recommended by viewer ENIGMA05. I find her reviews, at least on c-drama, thorough, binge-watcher-friendly, unbiased and to the point. And you can rely on her ratings. I would never have chosen a film with a sports theme, but gave it a go and, boy, it did deliver on feel-good from the first episode.
Falling into You (26 episodes) offers a straightforward story, great leads, and OST. For me it did not feel like the May-December or Noona romance as the age gap is small. It's only because of their roles (teacher-student) that this becomes "an issue". Both lead actors are well chosen, impressive performance by the male lead. I also liked the theme of friendship explored in the film.
For those who like light rom-coms, but without squeaky female voices or their homes stocked with soft toys (well there were only 2 soft toys, so I consider it progress) or some other annoying depictions of women.

I liked it better than most C-Dramas I have seen - the athletic dream theme was excellent. For me the male lead is what made the whole series worth watching was the male lead actor Wang An Yu was cast perfectly as being athletic, handsome, cute, boyish clingy yet manly and able to take control of his relationships and romantic. The thing wrong with this C-Drama IMO is the same thing that is wrong with all of them - the FLA doesn't seem like a good fit for the role to me - not necessarily athletic herself, just didn't have a spark like the MLA. Prefer K-Drama's but watch C-Dramas sometimes but for some reason something missing. Love the MLA though.
Why does the director think that a very irritating light blue haze and very low contrast is a nice thing for the viewer? I've stoped watching after exactly 18 minutes and 31 seconds.
May be director Zheng Yin should take lessons from director Pan-suk Ahn.
I was really looking forward to this noona show, but alas. Director Zheng Yin wants to give me the impression that I'm suffering of cataract.
I really do not understand "modern" directors. Horse speaking leading females, almost impossible to hear what the are saying, way too loud background music as opposed tot we too soft spoken dialogue, and then this blue haze. Check the scene where the lead male character is eating four enormous plates of food. That is not even a blue haze anymore. It's a very dirty lens. And oh, eating four enormous plates of food as a pig is probably a kind of humor. What girl or woman would fall for that kind of disgusting behavior. Why do writers think that viewers like this kind of stupid "porky" humor?
