Jena Friedman: Ladykiller

She makes me laugh. MAGATs hate her because they aren't smart enough to get the jokes which makes me like her even more. She's well versed and educated on current topics and absolutely slays the far right hypocrites. Weak, self-proclaimed "alpha males" must feel threatened by her because she is intellectually superior and happily doesn't seem to care what they think or how big their truck is.

I agree with her on so many levels, she's thoughtful and has obviously done her homework. Smart and secure men will laugh out loud at her humor. Smaller men will not.

I've been listening to Friedman's book -- an audio book read by the author. This TV special is in the next track on the same groove. In my opinion, she's not only VERY funny, but also, very direct, smart, and perceptive. Her intelligence is undeniable, though I am certain there are those who are unable to see the humor -- but it's their loss. They're the very ones who could benefit by listening and at learning, all the while having a good time with her brilliant presentation.

My wife and I give our stamp of approval to writers, artists, performers, etc., by inviting them to dinner. OK... they never show up -- but Jena Friedman is definitely invited to dinner!

Where do I even start? Her entire act was a train wreck. The response from the audience was very mild and forced at best. I couldn't stop cringing at how she was practically begging for some sort of feedback from the audience. She is a prime example of why people don't think female comedians are funny. If your idea of comedy is listening to a pregnant woman glorify abortion, mock miscarriages, & make nonstop digs at conservative republicans - then check her out. Personally, I watch stand up comedy because I enjoy laughing. Out of all the stand up comedians I've watched, she is below bottom tier.
