The Pregnancy Promise

Seriously, this actors look like ai people. If not, those filters in the movie doesn't really look natural, are we in plastic culture? Idk but I think we need to make of the classic ones and not just show plastic Barbie's and robot actors, it's good to see new people and not just Hollywood actors yes but the new ones need to learn how to be more real and try more hard. Obviously in this movie the concept of the weird teenagers is more important. The movie is not horrible, it is kinda intriguing and was saved by the thriller feeling. It gets mysterious by the time but disagree with those filters or ai, whatever.

I am not usually someone who complains about bad acting in a movie. But the acting in The Pregnancy Promise was not just bad, but atrocious. Not just reading lines, but reading them badly--in every single scene except for one. When Skye's mother comforted her during late pregnancy when she said she felt "as big as Jupiter." That scene was realistic and well-acted, but the rest. Whew!

Still I'm giving the movie 5 stars because otherwise it was soapy Lifetime fun!!!! In addition to the best friends being pregnant, there were several other interesting subplots. The villain was a complete surprise. However, unfortunately, because the acting was not good, the revelation fell kinda flat when it could have been really awesome.

Some things were improbable, like scrawny, nerdy Jake ever being a prospect for the NBA. Why didn't they just make him a geek who wanted to skip college and be the next Steve Jobs?

The babies at the end were so darned cute! And they wouldn't just be best friends; they're actually cousins.

This movie is the best of its genre. It is really captivating and fun to watch. The depth of the characters is well thought through, especially that of Aaron. I really enjoyed watching and the ending!! Wow. You can watch this movie with your family and everyone will be sure to love it. It was a great length and I was never bored while watching. I was also not able to predict everything that was going to happen. There was a lot of mystery and plot twists that I didn't see coming. Though I would suggest that you don't watch the full trailer, it shows too much in my opinion. I definitely recommend checking this movie out.

It has been said that Lifetime movies are where careers go to die, so what does that say about those who are just starting out? In this case, it's nothing good.

Most of the cast were good enough actors but the actor playing Lucy made what could have been a decent movie hard to complete. You cannot get by on big breasts alone. Perhaps with a few years of acting lessons she could become a halfway decent actor, but as for now, she's just not believable.

I like mysteries, which some call this a mystery movie, I don't. I may have enjoyed it more if I were younger. I think it's suited for a less mature audience.
