Well documented

This open-minded investigation shows the endless struggle of the Ukranian nation, without any preferences towards any of the conflicting sides. Perhaps the main hero of the story is Kuchma, who, although has been kicked out of the political scene seems to be the one who had some than that people always wanted - independence and friendly realigns with the allies. It's interesting that the events covered have not touched the events of 2014, but explain quite well all the causes. A must see before having any contemporary opinion.

The documentary itself is filmed in a casual way, it's an ongoing dialog that takes in multiple perspectives. Basic screen play with some rich historic materials in the background showcasing historical events.

Ukraine is no doubt an independent nation that must not become a satellite of the east or the west. The order and independence of Ukraine would be an achievement of many.
