Cringe!... Shame!... Embarrassing!.

As an Argentine an a big fan of the theater version with Antonio Gasalla in the main role i can only describe this as cringy.

I knew that nothing could compare to the original, but why?... Not only, why ruin what has become an iconic blockbuster, but why try to copy ( so blatantly ), a classic masterpiece like "Esperando La Carroza"?.

I couldn't even get through the first part because i was getting too upset. They try so hard to give the forementioned movie's vibe, that failed miserably at the poor attempt of using dark humor. This time with the family's dog...sad.

Please don't judge Argentine cinema based on this atrocity.
