Chapter Six: Escape from Camazotz

The Duffer Brothers seem to have a neurological condition that prohibits them from killing off any characters. What was once a show with tension and stakes has been reduced to something akin to a CW production with a bloated budget. The pacing, much like "Shock Jock," is far too slow and could have easily been tightened. Dialogue remains quite cheesy, and this fact is only exemplified by the actors' subpar performances.

Yes, Mrs. Wheeler is absolutely fantastic, but the Demodogs move as slowly as slugs, making the entire situation unbelievable (even by Stranger Things standards). It's such a shame. I was so excited for the hospital scene, only for it to be a dud. Max's talk to Holly is fine, but it was about triple the length it should've been. Ultimately, the emotions are still there, but the tension isn't.

Still quite an enjoyable episode to watch. Interactions between the characters were fine, and the scenes in Camazots remained well-executed.

The episode good but it was a little bit slow episode This episode nothing include special in it just a long conversation between Nancy and Jonathan and between The scenes between Steve and dustin was crazy ana that was the main highlights of the episode and some suspense about the upside down open in it But this episode was a little below my expectations That's I give it 8/10.

With Sadie in the center the level of acting goes way, way up. She is by far the best actor of this show. I also feel that this episode have a lot of promise and it could have been amazing, but as usual the corny dialogues drags while an enormously bloated cast do a lot of weird things. Annoyingly enough they had a chance to trim the cast with a few useless characters in this episode, but of course not. Cannot create excitement and slim down the cast with better focus now, can we?

And why drag it out? Why are we getting hours of nothing? The first 6 episodes of this season could have been summarised and cut down to two episodes. And with a smaller cast perhaps even only 1 episode. Is this to sell more advertising space? Or... why?

At least this was not as horrid as the two previous episodes, but my opinion stand firm that Stranger Things is a contender for the crown of worst ending season in TV history. The current champion of GOT better watch out...

The problem is that everything is unnecessarily dragged out to the point where the show just gets boring. And don't even get me started on all the corny dialogues. Characters keep saying things that you would expect to see in a 2016 kids movie, and not in Stranger Things. The actors are doing a really good job though. I hope the finale does better! Since it's supposed to be 2 hours (or more??) it's also in danger of being really stretched out, just hopefully it won't be.

It's so sad to say this but most of the cast gave a regular and even a bad performance. Joe Keery and Gaten saved this episode with emotional scenes, thoughtful conversation and great acting, something similar happened with Sadie and Caleb. The other storylines and acting felt mediocre and stuck, we spent too much time with Holly, I feel this storyline could happened in Vol 1, some stuff feel boring and pointless.
