Paramathma

Paramathma is a 2011 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film written, directed and co-produced by Yogaraj Bhat. It stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Deepa Sannidhi in the lead roles and was released on 6 October 2011,on the eve of Vijayadashami. Halfway through its production, the film's TV rights was procured for a record 3.5 crore.even before the release, the film grossed a record amount of over 25 Cr included broadcasting and distribution rights. Since release, the movie has garnered a cult status for its metaphorical narration and out-of-the box storytelling. Best movie. Paramathma is not just a movie it is emotion.

The director has to be given the full credits for executing the movie so beautifully ,through the graphics is not upto the mark at some scenes ,considering the year of released it can be ignored. The movie is all time favorite movie for kannada audiences/youngsters .the kannada dialogues ,singers ,lyrics writers also contributed in suceess of the movie .the movie is enjoyable when you understand the kannada language more.

I can recommend some movies of the same director Galipata,mungarumale worth watching ignore the quality of movie since is been more than10years streaming in hotstar for free.

I have personally watched the movies more than 30 times.

This movie is completely carried by the characters. It's always fresh even when u watch it again and again. One of Appu's best movies.

You will fall in love with this movie.

This movie had hugely hyped, but after it got released did not get much appreciation. So I did not went to theater to watch it, early.

Now that I have watched it, am telling you, its complete new experience for Kannada Film Viewers .

In Kannada movies nobody had tried this kind of experiment. Either they do brainless movies for mass with very normal story, fights with no quality. But this one went in opposite way. With Yograg Bhat style narration & Dialog it has lot of things enjoyable things.

It starts with flash back narration. Explains every point, meaning less fight I had seen in trailer, very good song. Great locations.

I enjoyed this movie until it reaches 95% of its run time, but after that it let me down and made me uncomfortable. It was not necessary I feel the movie ended. Or Director has failed at the end to convince his thoughts to viewers.

Any way I want to give thumbs for this kind of movies in Kannada and thought, so to support more quirky movies.

Thanks Yogaraj Bhat for lovely movie, I felt climax was bit different in Pancharangi, but hate it in Galipata and Paramathma.

One of my personal favorites. This is a special movie with some extraordinary acting and direction.Firstly the story keeps you haunting for a long time after the movie ends.It makes you think about the importance of relationships and friendships.The title itself attracted me which means "Purest/Best Soul". Even though the movie runs a bit long with a couple of unnecessary scenes, the uniqueness of the story and screenplay of the overall movie and it's theme makes you forget it's shortcomings.Kudos to YB and team for this wonderful experience called Paramathma.Expecting lot more such movies from you in future.
