The Happy Sad

Desperately tries to offer some sort of wisdom on how to navigate relationships in today's world, but it quite fails to do that.

The scripts barely skims the surface of the characters and their stories and why they choose whatever they're choosing.

Storyline is very disjointed and some scenes pop up for no reason. And what's with the songs? They seem just like another attempt to make it seem like it is deep somehow.

Quite a shallow and immature take and the only thing that was good about it was the actors performances; yet it seemed like they knew it was stupid, and were trying so hard to believe it.

Should have been called The Miserably Sad since there is nary a whiff of happiness in this exercise in bitterness.

Who is audience for it supposed to be? Self hating gays? Unhappy heterosexuals? Miserable bisexuals? Selfish jackasses? If so than they hit the nail on the head but if their target audience was discriminating viewers the makers of this picture must have been sorely disappointed, as anybody unfortunate enough to see this will be too.

Badly written, poorly acted by most of the cast amateurishly shot and with a callous attitude towards its characters there ISN'T something here for anyone.

While it wasn't a super well formed movie. I praise the actors for their boldness with the scenes. Its not really terrible or anything. The guys in this are too cute. Love the black couple.
