When efforts to bring Andi, Carla, and Shaina failed, Marian Rivera, Lovi Poe, and Angelica Panganiban (who starred in director Chris Martinez's Here Comes The Bride) were attached to the project. When GMA entered into the picture, the talents from the rival ABS-CBN networks were replaced with GMA stars.
