Primitive War

Entertaining time, but is about 30 minutes too long. Felt like the actors were doing character studies for their weekly acting class. They did a solid effort with the about the quarter of the budget that Jurassic park had. There were a lot of good scenes that could of made a great movie if they had better writing and acting and budget buy in. The third act had some great scenes as well and some good cinematography. Why does everyone feel the need to rehash old Vietnam tropes in their movies. This would hit the top of the leaderboard up on Netflix for a mindless, fun science fiction action movie. I just wonder what could have been if more people just believed in this movie.

The film features some impressive CGI dinosaurs that are detailed and cool to watch. The visual effects carry much of the movie's entertainment value and create the strongest moments on screen.

The acting, however, is weak and they all seems to be very loud. The performances feel flat and unconvincing. Dialogue delivery lacked emotion throughout the movie.

So stop reading and just go, if you were wondering about this stop and go.

Yes dinosaurs and Vietnam Apocalypse now with aliens (dinosaurs) Loved it even the cheesy dialogue could take the smile of my face.it anything it made like it more.

A routine mission for this jaguar yes jaguar team go deep into enemy territory to find the answers to a lost team and like predator or alien you are in for a treat. This is full tilt epic B awesome madness.

It just get better and crazier the longer it runs.

Its like a modern the land that time forgot a movie I loved and saw in the cinemas back as a kid.

The cast was all good and considering the dialogue they had to say lol.and the soundtrack was perfect but the biggest surprise was how fanatic the dinosaurs looked so impressed with that alone.

Yes there are any faults along the way but that does not change my opinion and my rating for when it was on point it was gold.

I know not many will see it on the big screen but that a ashame because it's worth the money and time. Not because it's the best movie out because it's just a great escape from the real world.

This is cult movie stuff and also stay for the credits.

Primitive war sets a dinosaur film in the middle of the Vietnam war and if that sounds interesting to you , well here it is. In truth it's an OK film that has it's moments of excitement but it didn't need to be 2 hours and 13 minutes long. The special effects look kind of cheap, the acting is uneven, the script is nothing special and the Russian and Vietnamese accents are dreadful. On the other hand while a completely modern film, it does have a certain 1950's sci-fi/ horror film vibe going on. I wouldn't sit through it again, mainly because it has nothing that distinguishes it in any way, no exceptional scenes or performances, no actor that stands out and Ryan Kwanten can't really carry the film.

It's obvious that the picture is a B movie from the trailer. I dunno how someone could think otherwise and have other expectations. It has everything you'd expect from a B movie - questionable cast and acting, bad accents, bloated scenes etc. But also have great dinosaurs (kudos to the fx team), who doesn't try to be your friends. They wanna rip you apart in graphic detail. The dinos designs and the portraying the dinos as actually scary was enough for me to enjoy the movie. We really needed that, after Jurassic World Disney-fied everything. The rating on the imdb page is pretty fair, but my Dino obsessed soul wanna rate it higher. They showed more dinosaurs (and actually almost scientifically right) than the last 2 JW movies together. Again - bravo to the FX team. Great work.
