An absolutely anti-war movie

It's a much better movie than a novel. An absolutely anti-war movie with extremely well-chosen great actors. The boys are great. Congratulations to the director for defeating the bad sides of the book. This is a sad and wonderful movie. It's a shame the movie isn't better noticed.

The worst film I've ever seen

This is, definitely, the worst film I've ever seen. Terrible screenplay, acting, directing... Also, the story is absolutely unconvincing. I just can't find any good aspect of this film.

much better than the book

They underestimated the movie because of the book. The movie is much better than the book. Very good story, convincing, boys excellent, actors fantastic, thoughtful directing, precise camera. And sound without music. Nice job.
