Landmark South African film about life under apartheid

Great film about life in apartheid South Africa and its effect on ordinary people. What happens when the police ask you to spy for them? Meet the young, innocent Carol Carpenter and her boyfriend, Julian Krige. Julian is asked to "get close" to Carol by the police because they are interested in the activities of her brother, who has communist leanings. And what are the ethics behind planting bombs and killing innocent people in order to force the apartheid state to come to its senses? Can such a thing ever be justified? This gripping film will appeal to your emotions and pull you along as you identify with a wonderful cast of complex characters, all played by excellent South African actors.
