Capo: Rise to Power

10 minutes into the first episode i was hooked. This series blends my favorite genres: sci-fi, mafia, intense thriller, and drama, and balances it all with occasional clever comedic relief. I've never seen or imagined a story that blends the underworld of organized crime with a mythical underworld, and it works so well. The cast is diverse and relatable and brings characters to life in their struggle to live life by the family code (and mysterious secrets). Love the soundtrack and camera shots- especially "I'm a Guido." Everything about this show is a breath of fresh air and I look forward to more seasons!

I recently finished Season 1 of Capo: Rise to Power, and I am deeply moved by its compelling story and profound spiritual undertones. The show revolves around the Baresi family, haunted for decades by the tragic consequences of Italian witchcraft, enforced by a ruthless mafia from Long Island. Michael Baresi's quest to break this generational curse and avenge his family's suffering adds layers of suspense and drama.

What makes Capo: Rise to Power truly exceptional is how it intertwines a gripping narrative with spiritual depth. It vividly portrays the struggle between light and darkness, reflecting the biblical truth found in Ephesians 6:12: "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." The show illustrates how past events and curses can deeply impact our present, resonating with the real spiritual battles we face.

Witchcraft and the Mafia. Not just the Mafia. This show was so unique I don't think this concept has ever been done before. I love seeing new fresh actors instead of the go to ones we usually see. It has depth. Not just mob hits and the same old song and dance that we see in other mob shows. The scenes between actor Lou Silver and the main character were unbelievable. Fantastic chemistry. The flashback scenes were wanting me to see a whole season of how this family reached the heights of the underworld. Capo Rise To Power is unique and something I'd love to see more of. We need something different. I'm sick of the same old song and dance.

Hats off to the writers and producers of this new show. In this day and age, Rarely do we get to see fresh faces and a new spin to a very old genre such as mafia related content.

While it no doubt may lose a few of the " Old Heads " who tune in for mob related content, I believe in this case, It should bring in a new litter of fans having interest in the supernatural aspects of the series.

Well written and acted, Especially by the top two actors, Capo rise to power is fresh and exciting, Has the requisite action sequences and mafia related " Beatings " that have ling come to establish the mob genre as a beacon for all things street life, This series has great potential moving forward and I applaud the powers that be for bringing this story to light.

I love this show very entertaining and a lot of excitement. I like the action and the story, and mostly the characters, the supernatural scenes were cool too, the music is awesome as well especially the Intro song lf anyone is looking for a great Mafia show with some supernatural stuff in it then this is the show for you, I would definitely give this show a watch, ive always loved supernatural films and gangster films and out of all the movies and shows i watched this is by far the best I've seen so far keep up the great work guys you guys are the greatest. I hope you guys make more episodes soon.
