Some of the songs used in the story were not around at the time the story is set (July 1981). "Prince Charming" by Adam & The Ants was not released in the UK until late August/early September 1981, as was "Endless Love" by Diana Ross & Lionel Richie (even though one of the characters is seen holding the 7" single in his hand). The most glaring mistake was the use of David Bowie's "Modern Love", a song that was not released until 1983.
