Resisting Roots

I'm a secret fan of the cheesey Hallmark movies, something about the unrealistic romance that I enjoy. This movie definitely fits into that category. I thougt the leads did a pretty good job, the story was the predictable romantic cheddar that one who chose to watch this would expect. I really enjoyed that some characters swore and that there were some fairly raunchy sexual moments that are more realistic even if they seemed to progress faster then they likely would in real life. It's kind of nice to see a Hallmark type movie that isn't so clean cut.

One thing that really bothered me though is trying to pass the Mustang off as a Shelby. Why try to fake something that was so insignificant?

I have no words. I watched this because I recently became hooked on Lou Ferrigno Jr and I thought it'd be nice to watch his previous works to pass time. Bad idea. I pretty much lost all respect for him after this. Although kudos for keeping a straight face for the entire movie, Lou. I don't know how you did it, you're a good actor.

I had to pause every few minutes to take a deep breath because the plot was simply disturbing. Whoever wrote this, I fear for you mental health. The story made absolutely no sense, the dialogues made me cringe so hard, there're holes on my floor dug by my cringed toes. And every time the male lead called the female lead "gumdrop", a puppy dies.

I think I have officially see. The worst movie ever and that would be this one Resisting Roots.

Bad acting, bad script writing...really nothing good about this movie. I can't tell how many times I laughed at what was said or how poorly they acted.

Dude literally is the biggest duche bag. Multiple scenes where all I could say was WTF? Also I'm assuming no intimacy coach was hired cause the sex scenes felt like two teenagers going at it for the first time...every time.

If I could give it negative one hundred stars I would. Also the fact this was made in 2022. Trash absolute trash. Glad this wasn't the first thing I watched on Passionflix.

This is exactly what it is intended to be for the target audience. I have to make it longer to get it posted but the first sentence says it all. Two beautiful people that are easy to watch. The acting is just fine, the story line is good and the dialogue is natural. Jus relax and enjoy for the entertainment it is intended to be!

This movie hit all the marks with its inspiration from the book. It showcased the book so perfectly making the characters and storyline come to life. It depicts empowerment though yoga with a side of life circumstances. Highly recommended !!
