Preyasi Rave

Both Srikanth and Raasi look domestic for a social audience . Srikanth took over as a family favourite in the mid 90s . Here both are lovers but Raasi's father has a condition . He has to earn 25 lakhs before he gets to marry her . He goes abroad and works very hard to earn that much money. when he returns back he sees that she is already married to Prithvi a very rich man . Initially when he contacts her , she agrees to elope with him ( because the marirage was not to her liking ) but a few incidents later she realises Prithvi is nice and caring and refuses to leave him. He is in hospital trying to save Rasi from goons . Her shrew mother in law ( Geetanjali ) tries hard to separate them but Rasi wins Prithvi's heart through dedication and service . Srikanth meanwhile refuses to let her go and tries all means to create problems between them . Finaly Rasi relents and says her decision is to live with her husband who is sick and needs a transplant . Srikanth commits suicide and donates his heart to Prithvi . Over all a fine family fare. instead of hating Srikanth for trying to re snatch Rasi, we feel sorry for him. Geetanjali is a delight to watch in her small role as Prithvi's step mother . Rasi wears nice sarees and looks cute even while crying or angry .
