V for Vengeance

The acting isn't the best and it's cheaply made but it is what it is, overall it's moderately entertaining and passes the time, can't ask for much more really from a low budget film.

Nothing I hate worse then blood drenched bodies after a feeding. The human body doesn't have that much blood in it. So, if there is tons of blood everywhere and on everyone, very little of it was consumed by the vampire. Any vampire that can't drink more blood than they waste doesn't deserve to 'live.' I have a list of movies I will never watch again because the vampires waste more blood than they consume.

I gave this a 5 because it was entertaining, even though it was pretty bad. I won't recommend anyone who is as picky as I am, about vampires who are too stupid to drink blood without making a mess, watch this movie. Unless you're bored and need something to do. Or you're a writer needing to use it as fodder for what not to do. Maybe figure out how to make it better.

Emma (Jocelyn Hudon) and Scarlett (Grace van Dien are two 'good' vampire sisters. On finding that their third sister Kate (Pauline Dyer) who was long thought to be dead, is in fact alive, they work hard to try and find her and reunite with her.

In the way are many 'bad' vampires who killed their parents, and are not going to give up easily.

OK the cold hard truth...this film is well worth watching just for the golden double of cuteness which is Grace van Dien and Jocelyn Hudon. They've both done better films in the past, but maybe not looked so good in them.

The story itself? It's passable, but it's delivered with a mighty dose of kitch and cuteness. It's not unwatchable at all, it's like a Nicolas Cage film that you don't want to like but you can't help thinking it was 'OK'.

I give it a solid 4 for some easy, afternoon entertainment, or something to watch with the guys.

As asadbanana said here after giving 6 6-star ratings with the title 'It is what it is'... "You don't go eating ice-cream when you're lactose intolerant then give the brand a bad review, now do you?" Definitely, it's not as bad as reviews here say! The entire story is carried by the three sisters. I had a few laughs and a great effort seemed to be put into this work.

The reason I wanted to watch and the reason I held on to the movie was the Papa Bear scene! And definitely this is watchable! 8/10 is worth it!

From the poster alone you could basically guess what you're going to get from this film, so hating it for living up to that expectation is sort of pointless.
