USA: First season was great and it was interesting to see how the actual winner got all the way to the end. Challenges were good. There is no need to put "celebrities" into the cast! It makes it much less appealing and the cliques formed were according to what shows they were on. But, Alan Cummings is awesome as the host and tooo funny! Please choose regular contestants.
The UK and Australia Traitors were much better! Love the concept and it's interesting to watch the journey unfold! I think it could have been moved along better and scenes cut as they got repetitive. The praise purse for both of these countries was less than the USA yet the contestants tried harder to win. Cmon USA!

One of my FAVORITE game shows - EVER!!!
SO addictive, in fact, that I had to look for more, and BINGE-watched (at the expense of being late for work the following morning), not ONLY the U. S. version, but the UK and Australian versions. It is SO good, that if I understood or spoke Danish, or if it had subtitles (and I knew where to stream it), I would immediately watch the original as well.
I was about to add that if you enjoy game shows, this is a DO NOT MISS show, BUT that statement falls short in describing what this series actually is.
This is not only a series where players compete for money. It's a whodunnit, a thriller, a mystery, a drama, a comedy ... it is excellent and addictive television.

Season 1 was fun to watch with real people, strategy, challenges, and game-play. So fun that I watched the Australia and UK versions as well. Season 2...not so much. What's with the recycled caricatures from other shows? Casting needs to understand there is a short shelf-life to these people. The drama has overtaken the fun of the game, and I'm finding it difficult to enjoy watching. Fake emotions, slights, indignation, you name it. Everything is so over the top. Alan should be the only character on the show, but his presence gets lost in the sea of fake nails, fake eyelashes and air-brushing. Phaedra in particular is difficult to watch, as she hasn't contributed anything to the games except endless pouting, mumbling, repeating what everyone else says and getting her 3-inch eyelashes caught in her fake bangs. Bring back normal people or this show should get muuuurrrderrred!
...this game is better when it is played by "civilians".
When it's "real people" like in the British version, the paranoia is real and much more papable, than when it is reality professionals who, while they attempt to "act" shocked/scared/angry/paranoid/etc., can't quite pull it off, and often over-act.
Add to that I find it hugely annoying that production is shooting snippets with contestants lounging in ther pyjamas in a castle bedroom, or splashing around in a castle bath, or some other thing meant to convey they actually stay at the castle, when the reality is none of them stay at the castle overnight, they are all driven to separate secluded hotels/AirBnBs, because that is the only way to avoid the traitors getting caught, when they do traitors work after bedtime, and the castle doesn't have enough rooms for them all.
That being said, it IS much more action packed than the "civilian" version, because the reality pro's play hard from the start, especially those with a backgound in competition shows.
So it's more action packed, but it doesn't have the delicious constant tense feeling of the civilian one.
I watch it, and I will continue watching, but I wish it was slightly better.

After really enjoying the UK version which has an IMBD rating of 8.8, I thought I would have a look at the US version. I was extremely disappointed to see that the US players were previous reality stars. Ugh...
The UK version, and I think tha Australian version are just average people. Sooooo much better. In season 1 of the US version, I got sick of some of the players. Some like Kate, were lazy. Typical US, very loud and false.
Seriously guys, watch the UK version for a wild ride. Our season 2 finale is tonight, and I am on the edge of my seat. Looking forward to watching th Ozzy version soon - all available on BBC iPlayer.
