More than Blue: The Series

This is one of the most beautiful masterpieces I've ever watched. I never ever cry on any series or movies, but this one shattered me. Loss is a very personal experience and grief changes everything, especially yourself. This series showed all the intricacies that happen with terminal illnesses, how brutal it is one the sufferer and their loved one.

I'm grateful for the creators and the actors for their beautifully well-done piece of work. The environment felt so gentle despite the hard hitting topic. I only recommend this if you're ready to finally face the losses and the grief you're going through yourself. If not, give it a bit of time as it's a brutal, yet gentle journey that'll force to inevitably face your own pain too.

Impeccable acting from all the main characters, especially Cream and K. The series is just so much better than the 2018 film, with the plot expanded to develop deeper into their stories and relationship. Post-shooting editing and soundtrack were also perfect, which demonstrated the highest quality ever seen in any Taiwanese series.

I tried watching this series because the original film is my favorite movie, but then it turns out I love this series more! Actually this is the first ever Taiwan drama I have watched. I cried so hard and the casting are perfect for their role, I really love their acting!! They successfully wrenched my heart into pieces. I guess it will take some time to move on. I. Love. This. Series. Everything is perfect, cinematography, dialogue, casting and the most important for me is THE OST. The ost of this drama is the best.

A young female student with a tragic past suddenly shows up at a school and starts to bully a male student who is also experiencing tragedy. We later find the reason but from this initial conflict a bond grows between them. When the boy is diagnosed with leukaemia he puts all his efforts into finding a partner for his friend. Yes it is cheesy and designed to pull at your heart strings but it does a vey good job at doing that. Well acted by the cast with another tragic side story running alongside the main one, and if you do not shed a tear at least once you are emotionally dead.

This is one of the most touching story's I have seen, I cried literally every episode. I have watched it a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about it..if you haven't watched it yet go for it!
