What a wonderful, inspirational movie. I come from Uttara Karnataka, and I have heard of Vijay Sankeshwar. He is a businessman and known personality in Karnataka. This movie is based on his life. It shows the problems he has faced and how he overcame themThe director Rishika Sharma has done great job in bringing the story on the celluloid. Nihal who played the role of Vijay Sankeshwar has put a lot of effort on his looks and done justice to the role given. Anant Nag, Bharat Bopanna and Siri Prahlad did their job well. Songs by Gopi Sunder are melodious and the BGM is also very nice. Superb movie.

Nihal gave a lovely performance as the son of a small town printing press owner who isn't much of a student, to his father's dismay. He declares his intention to have his own business, and disregards his father's negative predictions about his prospects. Vijayanand is the story of the rise of a common man from a small town in Karnataka to become the owner of maybe the most successful lorry, newspaper and television business in India. The film is said to be based closely on the story of a real person, Vijay Sankeshwar. It seems intended to inspire Indians to overcome the obstacles presented by competitors, and it raises the question as to what the appropriate response to the competitors is.

Director Rishika Sharma captures the life of an extraordinary man, who 'made his own road, and drove on it too'. Depicting the life of Vijay Sankeshwar, the founder of VRL Group, Rishika's second outing as a director tells the inspiring tale of the mammoth transport company, which started off with just one lorry. Rishika's biopic adroitly stitches the ups and downs of his life, of course, sprinkling commercial elements while doing so. Tracing the life of a personality like Vijay Sankeshwar is a huge responsibility, but Rishika makes it entertaining. Vijayanand never seems like an exaggeration; it remains pragmatic and inspiring.

Being a biopic, the film is weaved around the rise of Vijay Sankeshwar to spotlight through his diligence and perseverance in business arena. It encompasses all the significant events of his life right from his decision to break away from his traditional printing business to a new spectrum of transportation. Watched this yesterday at a theatre in Bangalore. Today's younger generation needs more movies like these which inspire them to take risks. Young people are working onstart ups. The beautiful photography of North Karnataka, superb acting, and realistically told modern story make Vijayanand a good choice as an eye-opener for someone who doesn't know Vijay Sankeshwar so well. And the music is extraordinary.

A great watch for the family. It has all the entertaining factors a movie goer expects. The son Vijay goes against father Anantnag's wishes and starts lorry business instead continuing his father's printing business. He faces many challenges and overcomes to achieve as the biggest lorry business in India today. He also startsnews paper business and television channel. Vijayanand is an honest attempt by the filmmaker to throw light on the life of Dr. Vijay Sankeshwar. This is the second film by director Rishika Sharma and actor Nihal. They have done a good attempt. Vijayanand showcases an ambitious man's dogged persistence and perseverance, and is definitely an inspiring watch.
