Irradiation

This sci-fi short film, made with Unreal Engine, is visually striking-almost indistinguishable from live-action. We follow a group of soldiers in protective gear as they navigate a highly irradiated site and approach a mysterious phenomenon. One of them volunteers to try to make contact with it. The story is fine, though not particularly unique, but the visuals are truly outstanding. It's worth watching for the visuals alone.

An impressive short Sci Fi , first for technique details. Second for the pressure of each scene, source of anxiety. Not the last, for the twist, reminding old Slav fairy tales . At the borders of magic and science, the exploration of a man about a misterious phenomenon. The armed force to determine him to fix the problem. And the solution, radical , not so surprising, simple and precise. Short, just admirable.

Made in 4 weeks with Unreal Engine, this is quite impressive for a CG short film, added that it looks amazing and the virtual cinematography and lighting was very well directed. They definitely are pushing the boundaries of what is possible with short film production and small teams. The short never reveals too much and keeps you interest until the end, which is a great compliment. 3D design and assets looked awesome. Suspense is maintained and is a unique short story concept. There is some violence at the end that is brief but fits the ending of the story. Sava Zivkovic and his team made an excellent short film here!
