an old story. well known. rediscover in its spirit in an admirable adaptation. its virtue - to remind. the sound , the force, the high art of ancient Greek theater. and to present the suffering and death and sacrifice and dignity and courage of women in the manner who seems be perfect only as line in book or word on scene. the Italian language becomes perfect cloth for the tragedy.
