Its script underwent major changes before and during production between 2005 and 2006. In December 2006, Lasha Dardagany stepped down during post-production. After the film was finished in 2006, the first cut was lost. However, DardAllone Pictures decided to move ahead with it in February 2021 (15 years later) and in March, Dardagany announced that the original cut would be released via the streaming service Vimeo.
