I found the premise of this film interesting - a parish keeping a werewolf locked in their church. The transformation scenes were well done and there were some decent moments of gore. It was nice to see Vernon Wells on screen.
As to be expected from a Chris Sanders film, the cinematography and the sound design were tight. There is a lot of audial and visual touches that give the film atmosphere.
Chris and his entire team show a lot of promise and have much to be proud of. I'm looking forward to seeing what they have to bring in the future.
Sure, the film has its flaws, but as this was made on a budget, and everyone put their best into the project, so any perceived shortcomings deserve a pass.
So, enjoy some dry and quirky British humour along with some simple, yet effective werewolf effects and some fun scenes of viscera and gore.
Thank you for all the entertainment you've given us, Chris Sanders!!

I do love a good horror movie and especially ones that don't take themselves too seriously. It starts with the actors. Take the scene that opens with a couple sitting and watching the television and then when a howl sounds they both startle. Hilarious without being pretentious. Just a great moment.
I watched this with a group of friends after talking them into it. One of the girls said is it gory? If it/s gory I don't want to watch. I said I don't know. I don't think so. And it isn't. I mean, not really. The so-called gory scenes are done in such a way they are more for comic relief than a true scary moment.
Just really well done... the acting, the writing, the directing. You can do worse than spending a couple hours watching Werewolf Cabal.

This movie was a really good movie I highly recommend it the director did an amazing job you should check out another one of his movies Demons At Dawn. He is a truly talented director and I recommend you watch anything that he directs or produces. The actors in this particular film were outstanding I was in suspense at all times you really didn't know what to expect I didn't expect things to happen the way they did but that was a plus and I really think there should be a sequel to this movie because we need to see more of the werewolf. This is actually one horror film that the whole family could watch.
Don't get me wrong, I love a cheesy werewolf flick. But I do expect actors to, you know, actually act? And the writing to be somewhat indicative of the actual flow of normal human conversation?
This movie was unbearable, and with an almost 2 hour run time, I had a lot of time to gather evidence.
It's like aliens trying to mimic humans wrote this movie. The dialogue is (at the very least) unnatural, and the acting leaves me hating every character. I was mostly hoping they would all just get torn to shreds so I could be done with it. What's the plot? Why should I care about Guy with Bad American Accent and his half-brother, Spirit Halloween Werewolf Mask? I get that making movies is fun, but save this for your high school art project. Run away, friends.

Genuinely don't understand the positive reviews on this. It was a movie that really didn't know what tone it was trying to set, acted out by the most cardboard actors they could find, with a script written with no concept of actual human interaction.
It was kind of fun watching for obvious continuity errors and trying to guess character motivation, but the script, vfx, acting, etc. Fell well short of delivering a cohesive plot. I can understand the low budget of the film and excuse the poor visual effects on that note, but there are so many movies on similar budgets that stretch the budget so much further with better script writing and acting.
I'm mostly just confused because it's not funny enough to qualify as a "horror-comedy," nor is it serious enough to qualify as a true "slasher." I'd generally recommend avoiding this movie unless you're planning on laughing at something silly.
