I love Psych2Go's easy to digest format. Its short formats, to-the-point narration and cute animation style make the series very accessible for the average person. This gives it a very wide reach and appeal that other kinds of advice often don't accomplish. Psych2Go covers a lot of mental health topics like depression, anxiety, burnout, trauma, addiction, etc. That clearly resonate with many people worldwide. Your mileage may vary on each topic and piece of advice, but there's so much variety that everyone should find something useful in Psych2Go.

Phsyc2go is in no way a reliable source, frequently citing sources that are unreliable or not citing them at all. The descriptions are surface level, which is not what you want when providing help on something as important as this, and the symptoms are described so generally you could literally self diagnose yourself with any of the symptoms they provide, often starting with ones more common to get people to stay on the video.

They also abuse popular video game characters in their thumbnails to get people to click on them, such as Omori.

This can be backed up, as a phsycologist has actually fact-checked some videos. Can't put a link in the review, but you can google Phsyc2go reliability and it's one of the first YouTube results.

While as a whole this Youtube channel is not for entertainment, and is fully about education and do in fact require you to seek out professional help if you a struggling with things.

I personally feel it's helpful for me who is just looking for some comfort and help to ease my stress levels and to find some understanding.

I feel like there is a great need for stuff like this on the internet which is more dedicated to helping people and to showcasing common signs that can help others who simply are in the process of feeling stressed or dealing with anxiety or depression and other forms of sadness.

By all means please don't take everything this youtube channel says as gospel or scientific facts of everything. But know that it is trying to help you deal with everyday challenges and making you know that deserve to find happiness.
