Unexpected Business

I would highly recommend the first two seasons of this series. Funny, fun, and heartwarming as you get to know the regular customers at the rate the actors do. The nightly chats among the celebrities are cozy and inviting. There's a charm to the residents of both towns and you'll be sad to leave then when the 10 days is over.

Unfortunately, the third season isn't quite the same success. Perhaps being a North American means I don't find the stories of the California customers nearly as interesting, and the celebs' inability to effortlessly communicate means they don't get to know the community as well.

This isn't on the stars. The store choice was a mistake by the producers. Everyone's far too busy to do more than struggle through the days. Not one of them looks like they're having fun. The show was far more effective in smaller towns.

Going into the last episode, I feel sad. It's really a heartwarming show. I love the cast. I love the guests and the townspeople. I really wish to see more. Huhu T_T </3.

Watched all 3 seasons. Really loved the chemistry between the casts in all the seasons. Starting from a small shop in country side to Asian Mart in California, it definitely was unexpected, yet had heartwarming stories, funny and memorable people who visited all three shops. Really felt sad about the last season because the cast struggled a lot with the language, other than that, it was fine.

Soothing TV shows to watch. We can see the other side of the celebrities (actors). How they do simple work like most people. How nice to see the village atmosphere with a kind community. As a viewer who is also an ordinary person who does the same routine work every day, watching this show makes me think how simple things are so blissful. Hopefully there is a second season and beyond.
