I suffered through the first episode. I learned about 30 times over that Wayne Brady is pansexual, has another child, needs to tell his truth, is afraid to tell his truth, is nervous what the reactions will be to him revealing his truth, truth truth truth! He could have come out via an Instagram post but instead felt the need to make an entire TV series to do so? Why? What are the other seven episodes for? Reactions to him coming out? I'll pass!
He's obviously also using it as a platform for his daughter to showcase her dancing, singing and acting abilities. So far we have seen her bully and belittle her dad, complain about how she wants to be an adult but have absolutely no responsibilities or have to pay her own way, try to convince her dad that him paying her rent for an apartment is really doing him a favour, and whine like the spoiled brat she is when he wants her to stay close to home but reject the fact that he is giving her a free studio next to his house that he will fully furnish for her. Yawn. I have zero interest in his nepo baby's life and barely any more than that for his own life (which seems to revolve around coming out - which, again, could have been done on Instagram).
Pass on this show unless you want to waste any amount of your life.
