This is a hilarious and cool movie.
I've seen Wrong Turn Part 6, but it doesn't matter which part it was because the guy who matters is on the cast list of all Wrong Turn parts. It's Julian Richings, the actor of "3 Finger".
I ended up on "Relax, I'm From The Future" because I checked movies with Julian Richings. What a happy coincidence.
This film captivated me from the first scene to the last. It is unique. All the actors do a good job, they are perfect for the roles they play. The lead role is a unique and very sympathic guy.
The story is cool and it is funny...... and keeps it simple: there is one reality, a self-adjusting mushy blob of reality or something, which keeps itself on the main track (something like that...) so we can go back in time and interact in the world, as long as we don't change important historical events and not kill important people (or let them live instead of dying as it is supposed to happen). As it turns out, most of us aren't important, most of us don't matter. But I don't want to spoil too much.
This movie is made to entertain and it serves its purpose.
This a low-budget movie that works perfectly fine because of a great idea and great execution.

I enjoy Rhys Darby usually but the trailer's quirky scenes don't depict the quagmire of time-wasting dullness of the entire movie.
It starts bad, I hoped it would get better but it got worse.
My spouse couldn't watch the entire movie, bailed half way through, as other reviewers have, but I stayed until the bitter, drab end and we agreed I should write a review to warn people how terrible this movie is.
We enjoy time travel movies, we enjoy off-beat humor, twists and turns, surprises, unique characters, but the only surprise was how inane the writing and story and characters were. I hope to forget this movie.

Darkly humorous and quirky, this movie keeps you on your toes (and laughing) throughout. Incredible performances from the whole cast, and particular props to Rhys Darby for making what could have been a dislikeable character absolutely charming. Julian Ritchings is also at his finest, bringing depth to a complex character with some extemely funny moments. This was the first thing I've seen Gabrielle Graham in, but she was incredible and I look forward to hopefully seeing her in many more movies to come!
I saw this at a film festival when it first started premiering last year, and I've been waiting for it to get a wider release so I could convince everyone I know to go watch it, because I knew I had a ton of friends who would like it.

The film starts out with a seemingly simple premise: a time traveler from the future comes back to present-day Toronto to fix world-changing mistakes. But the film keeps surprising us. Maybe people's motivations aren't what they appear to be. Maybe time travel is more common than we realize. Maybe "everything's gonna be okay" means different things to different people. Rhys Darby, as Casper, is hilarious, infuriating, and loveable. Gabrielle Graham has a breakout role as Holly, a jaded young punk who has to wrestle with how much of the world's burdens she has to take onto her leather-clad, spiky shoulders. And Julian Richings shows how much circumstances can change a person's trajectory.
Ok, there's going to be a bunch of people who hate this film, but to be honest, it's got "cult film in the making" qualities, and this will be watched for years to come.
It's proper quirky and deals with the whole time travelling meddler in a fresh new way. I don't want to give anything away, so I wont.
There's fresh faces in this, no big named actors that have been in a thousand things, which is refreshing in every way. The humour is tinged in just the right amount of darkness, which is great but understated.
After watching lots of 'mainstream' films recently, this little gem was an absolute relief to watch.
