Sara's

The overall acting n performance of each character is good,but the script of the movie can give a wrong message to the society.

It is a really good movie, Jude Antony (director) has done a great job here for presenting the judgements, social exclusions, ridiculous parent expectations and society and its beliefs when it comes to pregnancy and parenthood all in fun watching .Regardless of their gender, everyone should watch Sara's as it is not only informative but entertaining as well. Ignore the negative comments here (it's clear that problem is with them).

Sara's is a good attempt at making the Indian audience understand that reproduction at the end of the day is a woman's choice. However, the movie just seems like a movie starting off as exaggerated and then meandering along the lines of reality. Seems quite artificial. Anna Ben is alright, but seems miscast and Sunny Wayne as always doesn't look the part as is the case in most movies. It's a decent watch, but nothing special.

Sarah is a struggling associate director who wishes to become a director, she works hard for it and on the way she meets Jeevan who is an MBA graduate and had resigned his job in Bangalore and lives in her sister's apartment for the time being. Sarah and Jeevan find the connection between them because they do not want children, they gradually fall for one another and end up getting married. Their smooth navigation life soon encounters unhappy problems as something unforeseen happens.

It is a good movie and looks at life from the view of a woman. The problems that women face when it comes to their career and the struggle to balance their family life are portrayed in this film. Many people may not agree with the plot of the film, saying that it sends out the wrong message, but I don't find anything wrong with it. It's wonderful movie and has some meaningful message for the society.

On paper this might not be a great script or story. But the way it has been showcased shows the talent in the director, technicians and the actors. The message,though is force-fed towards the end, is apt and the need of the hour. This made me give it a couple of points more in my rating

Kudos to the cast and crew to have the sense to belive the message and the script. Watch once, ideally with the family.
