Oh my those first three episodes were enough for me and I won't be coming back. First off the protagonist of this story can't act but even if she could her character Ree-Ray is insufferable, completely unlikable. She steals when she needs certain things but it's ok because it's for a great cause (right). The supporting actors are really dull and unlikable as well; there's one that's supposed to be intimidating but he's anything but intimidating. The story is horrible, disjointed, and convoluted. I thought I was supposed to be watching a superhero series but the story is all over the place and it's so boring. Oh, and the protagonist is a genius and you'll know because everyone to include herself will let you know.
Honestly, I'm still scratching my head wondering how Marvel even let this one see the light of day. It felt less like a compelling superhero story and more like a bad high school drama trying to masquerade as something epic. The whole thing was just so unbelievably unrealistic, even for a comic book adaptation. I mean, sure, I expect some suspension of disbelief, but this show pushed it way too far with its ridiculous plot twists and characters making choices that defied all logic.
And the acting? Oh boy. It was so over the top it actually became distracting. Every emotion felt cranked up to eleven, like the actors were screaming their feelings at me instead of letting them develop naturally. There was absolutely no subtlety, and it just made every serious moment feel unintentionally comedic. What really got me though, was the complete absence of character detail. It was like the writers forgot these were supposed to be people. They felt like flat cutouts, with no real depth, no believable motivations, and certainly no growth. I couldn't connect with anyone, and honestly, I didn't even care what happened to them. It was a struggle to get through, and frankly, I just wish Marvel would hit the brakes on whatever they thought they were doing with this one.

What makes it worse is the show's attempt to erase Tony's legacy rather than celebrate it. Ironheart doesn't treat Tony Stark as a mentor, a blueprint, or even a point of philosophical reflection. Instead, it treats him as an outdated relic-a mere footnote in Riri's story. That's insulting to both the character and the fans who watched him grow over more than a decade of films.
And I get it-new characters need to rise. The torch must be passed. But you don't honor the past by pretending it was irrelevant. You build on it. You respect it. You show that your new hero has something to learn from those who came before. Ironheart skips all that. It acts like it doesn't need the foundation that was built before it. And because of that, it feels hollow.

This show suffered from writers who don't understand what makes something dramatic and or interesting, so the writing just drones on and on and on with underwhelming scene after underwhelming scene. There are so many opportunities to make this extraordinary but these people would have to understand enough about creating drama to know how to do that, and they simply do not. This is at every turn, in every scene, and on and on. They seem to believe that savvy tech, and concepts alone will make it interesting, but it doesn't.
I hope they get better writers, soon too, because the basic premise perhaps could be interesting, if . . .

I can definitely see the potential for this Marvel Series, but unfortunately it seems to succumb to the post COVID-19 & Writers Strike blues. Meaning that ever since COVID-19 & The Writers Strike, out of all of the TV shows & movies that I have watched, about 85% of them had poor storyline with plots that seem to get Lost in Space. In my humble opinion, Ironheart also seems to succumb to this ongoing situation and who has an outside balcony workshop in Chicago, AKA, The Windy City??? Not to mention the Brutal Winters??? Just another example of the ongoing poor writing that Hollywood has been spewing out since COVID-19 & The Writers Strike.
